The SOEL Professional Examinations constitute one of the requirements:

• for a student to obtain the professional title of METKEL

• for prospective Certified Public Accountants (CPAs)

According to the Professional Examinations Regulation, students and CPA candidates must successfully pass exams in 28 subject areas, covering Auditing, Accounting, Taxation, Legislation, Auditing Standards, and Sustainability.

Eligible to participate in the Professional Examinations are:

• students enrolled in IESOEL’s educational programs

• all CPA trainees (active and suspended members)

• CPAs from third countries

• university graduates, upon approval of their “Examination Registration Application”

The Professional Examinations are held twice a year, in December and June.
