SOEL - NKUA Collaboration
The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Greece (SOEL) and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) have been cooperating since 2005 in the Inter-Institutional Graduate Program “Applied Economics and Finance” and through IESOEL have created the innovative Master’s Degree Program in “Applied Accounting and Auditing” and the Master’s Program in “Public Auditing”.

Students of the NKUA who obtain the Master’s Degree in “Applied Accounting and Auditing” can also acquire the METKEL title after successfully completing the professional exams of SOEL and attending the following courses within the IESEL program.

International Accounting Standards (IASs) and IFRSs
Tax Accounting Systems and Documentation
Value Added Tax (V.A.T.)
Taxation of Natural Persons
Taxation of Legal Persons (Entities)
SOEL’s collaboration with NKUA emphasizes the applied nature of the Master’s Program, because it is the bridge between academic knowledge and the labor market. At the same time, it contributes to the recognition of the Program in the professional field of auditing, accounting and finance.
