SOEL – ICAEW – AADE Tax Forum 1st roundtable

The Tax Forum, co-organized by SOEL, ICAEW, and AADE, addressed key issues related to taxation, tax regulation in Greece, international taxation, and tax certificates, as well as the response of major bodies in the auditing and accounting profession. The event took place at SOEL’s headquarters in Athens on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.

The meeting was opened by Mr. Charilaos Alamanos, President of SOEL, Mr. Georgios Pitsilis, President of AADE, Mr. Nikolaos Papadimas, First Vice President of ELTE, and Mr. Ian Wright, CEO of ICAEW.

The event was attended by key representatives of Greece’s major auditing firms, along with representatives from the participating organizations.

In his opening speech, SOEL President Mr. Alamanos emphasized the importance of strong collaboration among institutions for the benefit of the Greek economy and the profession of Chartered Accountants.
