IESOEL & ACCA Silver Sponsors at “Entrepreneurship & Career Panorama 2025”
The Institute of Education of SOEL (IESOEL), in collaboration with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), had the honor of participating as Silver Sponsors at the 15th Anniversary “Entrepreneurship & Career Panorama 2025.” The event, recognized as the largest multi-conference on entrepreneurship in Greece, took place from March 28 to 30, 2025, at the Athens Concert Hall.
The conference, organized by former AUEB professor Mr. Iordanis Ladopoulos and his team, featured an extensive program with over 80 presentations and more than 250 distinguished speakers from across various economic sectors. Its primary aim was to strengthen the connection between young professionals, graduates, and students with the business world—promoting entrepreneurship, professional orientation, business development, and innovation.
During the three-day event, IESOEL’s Education Director, Ms. Despina Lekka, MEd, and ACCA representatives Ms. Chryso Iasonos – Business Development Manager, ACCA Southern Europe, and Mr. Marios Evripidou – Business Relationship Manager, ACCA Southern Europe, presented their specialized joint educational programs aimed at postgraduate students seeking professional certification in auditing and accounting.
Joint Examination Scheme (JES) SOEL – ACCA:
The collaboration between SOEL and ACCA since 2009 provides the following options:
- Those who acquire the METKEL qualification may also acquire the professional qualification of ACCA, attending only 4 Professional Level courses of that body, sitting the corresponding examinations.

Participation in the Joint Examination Scheme (JES). In this case, participants must attend and pass due courses in taxation and law in the Greek language through the SOEL professional examinations and all ACCA subjects except Law and Tax, in English. In this way candidates acquire the professional qualification of both bodies.
Participation in the panel discussion “Redefining the Accountant”
As part of the conference program, on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at 13:30, a themed panel titled “Redefining the Accountant: Skills and Opportunities in the New Era” took place. Representing IESOEL and ACCA were:
- Ms. Analia Kokkori, Equity Partner, Audit, People and Purpose Leader, Deloitte Greece
- Mr. Petros Mandilaras, Auditor, Co-founder & Partner at Argo Audit Ltd, member of SOEL and ACCA
The panel was moderated by Ms. Anastasia Chalkidou, FCCA, CFO and Co-Founder of Quantum BITS.
